A number of Grace Brethren senior pastors and church leaders from around Ohio have taken the challenge to seek God’s counsel about church planting in our state over the next ten years. They prayed for several weeks and then gathered to share how God spoke to their hearts.

By faith a document has been produced that describes what God wants to do through Grace Brethren leaders and churches by the year 2020. This Future Story tells what may come to pass if we diligently seek Him and the expansion of His Kingdom here in Ohio.

Monday evening, May 17th 6pm to 8pm, at the Delaware Grace Brethren Church (375 Hills–Miller Rd.), we are going to celebrate by faith this vision for Ohio church planting. You, missional leaders from your church, and prayer warriors are invited to come and worship the Lord with us. Brother Ted Rastetter of the Soma church plant in Springfield, OH will lead our musical voices in praise and several others will share how God is leading.

Tuesday, 9am to 3pm, all who are interested will help us “de-engineer” this Future Story. That is, we want to begin the work of pursuing this future reality by analyzing how we can all “start the ball rolling” in that direction by the choices we make right now. We believe there is “something for everyone” in this Future Story, but what is it? That’s what we want to find out through this “de-engineering” process.
