Gatherer–Shepherd–Elder (G.S.E.)

What is this tool? This tool is a highly efficient, moderate growth and cost effective way to plant a new church. The process involves discovering a gatherer. A gatherer is someone who is a “people magnate” and allow them to gather families around them to unite around a vision for a new church plant. A shepherd comes along and works with the gatherer to lead the group in core group formation and the leading of the initial church services. The desired goal is to pray for God to raise up an elder from among the group to lead them on to church establishment.

This process allows for our church family to be involved in church planting in very real and effective ways.
