About the list
One of the things that VisionOhio does NOT want to do is take credit for what others are doing. VisionOhio is not providing any funds directly to these church plants. Presently, these are the church plants Grace Brethren people have initiated. VisionOhio has had some involvement in the leader's life in all cases:
- Each church plant IS in Ohio.
- VisionOhio has contributed SOMETHING to each of the church planters (like assessment, training, coaching, networking, etc.). Exceptions to this are noted individually.
- Each church plant is the result of church/leader collaboration. Exceptions to this are noted individually.
It takes many resources from a variety of sources to successfully start a new church. We encourage the avoidance of church-planting INDIFFERENCE and church-planting INDIVIDUALISM. Our pursuit of planting new churches is all for the sake of obedience to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20, etc.) with a full appreciation of the significance of each contributor in the Body of Christ. Isn't it just GREAT that God let's us do these things TOGETHER for His glory!
