Andy and Tricia Wirt - A suburban work sponsored by Northwest Chapel.

  • Story: One of our first teammate relationships developed out of an unusual interaction that could have only been orchestrated by God.  It began when a woman in our neighborhood, whom we had never met, was violently assaulted in her home.  We worked together with some other neighbors to send her flowers in the hospital.  A few weeks later, there was a knock on our door.  M. had come to introduce herself and express her appreciation for the flowers.

    As we briefly talked about our stories, we shared about our work of beginning a new church here in New Albany.  We invited her to our first gathering a few weeks later and she said, "I'll be there."  And she was.  And she has been ever since.  When M. attended our first gathering she brought a friend, G., with her.  To make a long story short, I married M. and G. several months later and they have been some of our most faithful teammates ever since.  God has done amazing things in M's life, helping her to recover, forgive, and follow Jesus with zest.  If you visit ClearView...she'll be one of the first to greet you...and you'll see her love for Jesus first hand.

  • Current Status:
ClearView Church is a new GBC in its formative stages in the New Albany, OH area.  Church starters Andy and Trish Wirt are currently forming a "launch team" and have been blessed with about 10 committed families as of September, 2008.  Our prayer goal is to ask God to lead us to our "25 to thrive" (25 launch team families) by our projected "Grand Opening Celebration" on Easter, 2009 (April 12).  God has been doing amazing things in our community impact activities and has opened doors for ClearView teams to serve thousands of people with love in practical ways.  We are gathering for weekly worship on Sundays at the Gahanna YMCA at 9:30a.  Anyone interested in learning more about ClearView can visit our website or contact Andy at andy@clearviewgrace.com.  More on the Wirt's story and God's answers to prayer can be found at www.wirt-prayer-team.blogspot.com.
